Quiter! I just went up to level 12 and FINALLY got a dog........ which turned out to be completely useless at this high of a level.

Could be. Try and see if you can download drivers from the manufactures homepage. It might solve the problem. The reason I said it could be a hardware problem is that devices can have different sensetivity with problems like that. Some types of computers don't like some devices and some work...
