Yeah, I agree with almost everything everyone said. The art was totally off, looked pretty good in parts, but mainly it looked terrible. The story wasn’t that bad besides Thing’s role, (first a shock factor death and then… Blue? WOE?) But, it looked a lot worse in comparison to God War.
I...
That's the benefit of not having one!
ROTFL
Bass replied to my thread, I feel so loved :D
Okay, I've been trying to figure out how to redo my two least favorite storylines: Carnage and Clone Saga. This is what I've got so far, just rough ideas really:
Carnage
Introductions...
Well of course, we all would. But what I'm asking in this thread is how would you have her still be a Carnage monster, and yet make a good story out of it?
Yes, it's impossible, but that's why I asked :P
…Without changing the end result. Any introductions, deaths, resurrections, powering or de-powering of a character plus any important information they gain in the story, (i.e. learning Spider-man is Peter Parker,) would still have to happen.
So, you can try to tell a better Clone Saga, but...
I liked the preview, so I decided to read this issue, despite how much I can’t stand what Kirkman has done on this title, (Date Night, Magician, Cablerine and Crazy Kurt,) I really liked this issue. I seriously hope that this means the stories will improve.
Unfortunately you’re right...
ROTFL! I love your review Wade! :D When I read this issue I was thinking "huh, the reporter looks somewhat like MJ, probably just the red hair that makes me think that" :P
I liked that they talked about Kingpin's wife again. At least one USM villain is something a little more than evil...
A lot of other people are saying that Atlantis was definitely better than SG-1, too, but I liked the SG-1 premiere better. Don’t get me wrong, The Return, part 2 was great, but for me The Quest, part 2 is, like, one of the greatest Stargate episodes ever! :D
Re: Ultimate X-Men #81 preview @ PCS
Huh, well I really haven't liked Kirkman's run so far, but that actually seemed kinda interesting  :P
I do like the idea of finally picking back up on the Magneto storyline, and that Mystique will be out of prison. I've skipped around UXM a bit...
Yay, Immonen! :D I do have to say I like the scrawniness better, but I don't care either way about the eyes.
I was just telling someone a few days ago that I'd love to see Spot in USM. His plot in S:TAS was interesting, plus his powers are pretty cool. Although I've never seen him in the...
Very interesting, I'll have to look that up, thanks! :D
Yeah, I know almost everything about the UU, I'm just wondering if it's the same in 616, and if so, what was going on in the movie.
Interesting point about DD and Punisher, but I did want to ask: I know next to nothing about Daredevil (I’m pretty new to comics, if you didn’t catch that from my terrible misinformed posts :P) and I didn’t see the movie, but I did see some clips a while ago. In one of these I remember DD...
Maybe it's just me, but I think Bendis and Bagley going for the record was a big mistake.
I think Bendis focused too much on getting to issue #103 then telling and tieing up his storylines well. I'm not saying that the record was Bendis' only problem, but I think to get there he did too many...
Yeah, S9 is out, I own it :)
Anyway, they’ve always used seven chevrons to travel to a planet, six being the planets address and the last being the point of origin. However, in Season 2’s The Fifth Race, Jack, with his enhanced knowledge thanks to the Ancient head-grabber, uses eight...
Man, this is my favorite show ever! I can’t believe Sci-Fi canceled it :x I mean, I know the show has gone on for a very long time, but if they had canceled it earlier, when they wrapped up the Goa’uld story, then I would have been upset, but understood.
But, now they got this Ori...
