Slasherverse - Timeline

Also btw @probot (not sure if I'm pinging right) you really should add the Freddy and Jason novels eventually since they clean up the timeline a bit. church of the divine psychopath is stated to take place by the author between parts 7 and 8 and it's set in spring (since both 7 and 8 are set in summer this mean both are set in separate years. The Jason X Death Moon novel mentions Elias cursed Jason with the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis (the ex-mortis name obviously being the Evil Deads name for the Necronomicon) they also mention there's 666 copies of the Necronomicon which further support the idea of there being multiple. The Mask of Jason Voorhees is only like half official but it does give us hard dates for some movies, 1993 for Jason takes Manhattan and 1995 for Jason 9, the book is set on the 3rd anniversary of Jason 9 so 1998 (the back of the book says 4 years but the actual text says 3.)

Also for the Jason X novels, I don't know why but everyone says they happen before the comics but that's not true. The first Jason X novels prologue happens during the ending of the movie (when his mask falls into the water) but the rest of the story is set years later meaning it's after the comics. Death Moon and planet of the beast is set sometime later and then To The Third Power is set 20 years after death Moon

One other thing, the Jennifer's Body franchise is canon to the Slasherverse. Tim Seeley said it was and Jennifer has a picture of Cassie in her locker in the tie in comic (and yes the tie in comic and the movie are canon to each other, the comic just shows events from a different POV and also has some side stories)

Pretty sure it's just set after The Goldbergs and Schooled. The Freddy crossover solidifies it.
Nah, Adam Goldberg the creator of the show said that just the first 6 seasons and the Hatchet crossover is canon, nothing else. I believe it's because he left the show after season 6 and it stopped being inspired by his life after that. Most of the Adam Sandler references happened after season 6 (except the wedding singer crossover) so I think we could argue there's a diverging timeline

Timeline 1
Slasherverse
Goldbergs S1-6
The Wedding Singer

Timeline 2
Goldbergs S1-10
The Wedding Singer
All of the Adam Sandler shared universe

By doing that we can cut off the Adam Sandler comedy stuff for the most part from being part of the Slasherverse, also btw there is technically a Ferris Bueler crossover in Goldbergs but like... The whole episode is a parody of the movie and they constantly talk about how it's a movie. I think the character from the movie briefly showing up is just a gag in the episode and definitely not trying to portray a shared universe in that instance

NGL I don't think the "Die!Namite" comic series (and by extension AOD 1979) should be counted as canon for the Slasherverse. The thing is kinda like Marvel Zombies, it's meant to be an alternate zombie apocalypse type story with all the Dynamite characters. They permanently kill off several characters from other series in it and such. I think that's one of the few Evil Dead comics that are definitely an alternate continuity entirely.
