Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

I'm thinking Born Again S2 will wrap before Thunderbolts. Chances are we're picking up shortly after S1. Plus the filming for S2 actually matches where S1 ended (late March-early April) so it naturally fits. Thunderbolts would then be later in the year and I wouldn't be surprised after Fisk is out of office.
 
Thunderbolts could take place around May of 2027 since there's a Battle of NY event most likely the anniversary and 15 years is quite a good number of years to even organise that kind of event. However I'm not that sure how would it line up with Thunderbolts (literal vigilanties) running around New York when Fisk banned any kind of vigilantism in his city.

Also I believe Sam called Bucky a future congressman so he's not a congressman yet in BNW and now he is one in Thunderbolts.

I think we'll have to wait and see. I like the idea of Thunderbolts revolving around the anniversary of TBONY, but at the same time I feel it's too close to BNW and Born Again. S2 could easily wrap by May if it starts in early April. However, May is a little too close for it to most likely not get brought up. If it were later in the year, it'd be a little more acceptable why there's no mention of Fisk or the city's time under martial law.

Yeah, the world doesn't stop just because we don't see something. Reminds me of everyone complaining about no reference to Tiamut for years when Brave New World showed us that things were happening offscreen with it. Like I don't need NWH to casually drop a "crazy about that head sticking out of the ocean" line.

Honestly?

I think Agent Orange's death in Punisher was worse than this. He literally had his eyes gouged out. This isn't really like Terrifier either (which is cartoonishly gory, like Fallout). It's more like Saw if anything. Maybe a low tier Mortal Kombat fatality. The reviewers overhyped the gore in this episode, made it sound like heads would explode or something but nah, just squeezing the skull for a bit then ripping the jaw off. I mean, it's violent yes.

Also, gore doesn't make something good or bad. Gore serves the story first, and I feel they did this and added an absurd amount of CGI blood in order to say "see? We're like Netflix!" because a few people were worried about that. I don't know, I find marketing things based on how violent they are to be kinda off putting. Echo's marketing was so cringy and it turned out to not be that violent after all.

Good episode, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's bad. This is just my extended thoughts on specifically the violence in the series, which I had no problem with but I just don't think it's a big deal.

I also don't understand how this happening in Daredevil (a show which you do want to watch) shows me that you don't want to watch Terrifier. You've probably seen worse than this in, like, Evil Dead or something.
