Gotham Knights is its own continuity. It's very much influenced and based off of the Arkhamverse. This seems to be simply a reference unless said otherwise by WB Games.

Unfortunately, it will never be anything more than headcanon. The realistic outcome of these stories is that Disney remake all of them in their way (not very good). Dave Filoni will inevitably want to use Plagueis and Abeloth and Revan, all that goodness and it will all be the same as the other...

I like it. The editor's note has some interesting points however I'm not sure I agree with the reshuffling of years. With what I'm doing, its trying to keep as close to those continuities as possible so anything with a cited date (especially multiple sources like the films) I have to keep it...
