Terry O'Quinn has appeared as a CAG in JAG, as a close friend of McGarrett's in Hawaii Five-0, and as a close friend of Gibbs in NCIS. Even if you remove H50 from the equation, JAG and NCIS share the same universe. My excuse for this is simply that there are doppelgangers in this world. :)

UPDATE: NCIS, Season 1 and JAG, Season 9 have been added. Now working on closing out JAG's last season and starting on NCIS, Season 2.

UPDATE: 2/21/25 Cobra Kai is done. The 4-issue comic has been added. I am working on adding the animated series now (thanks to @JudgeDreddpool for that). SO. MANY. MONTAGES. Holy shit, I am not kidding. The final season had at least a montage per episode, save for maybe two or three of them...

I am saying the 2010 film is canon to CK and all the films via 2025's retcon. I am just torn on the Animated Series because it's so ridiculous. If I had to place the Animated Series, it's gotta be late 1989 to mid 1990, four years after the events of The Karate Kid III. Wow, Gunn said those...

Right. I get that. But it's canon-by-proxy. It isn't in a separate universe. Whether or not the CK showrunners are involved is irrelevant.

I'm not quite sure what you are saying here. Legends officially connects 2010's reboot film to the universe. The shrine does connect TAS with the overall universe but not officially and the writers and producers of CK already said that. You can include the shrine but invent a different story...

Right...it wasn't canon until Legends officially connected them. That's far different than the animated series.

Just working on adding the final eps of Cobra Kai...I will also add the comic...but I am torn on the animated series. On the one hand, the Miyagi Shrine from the show is in CK...but the producers of CK basically said that is just a homage and that the animated series isn't canon.

That's one of those timelines I wouldn't ever touch or think to touch. That's up there with the entire Dick Wolf Universe of Law & Order which branches out everywhere and would take up so many pages, we'd run up the space limit on the forum.
