Yeah, so IGN did a list of 50 loose ends... They ranked the "numbers" as #1... There WERE some actual cool ones, though... Such as who is Christian's daughter? And alll kinds of stuff, if I can find the link... I'll hook you guys up!

I don't see the numbers being mysterious at all anymore. They were a central part of the second season, but we've moved beyond that now.

A better theory I've read so far explains that the smoke monster is a Djinn. It actually makes sense.

Also, smoke is caused by fire. So I'm wondering if the Flame Hatch has something to do with it. We'll see.

Use any name you like, but it's all nonsense. Sure, it's fun in a story sense, but none of these are more real than another.
