Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

Yeah, it's mostly just unfortunate how that turned out.

To be honest, I think they said it was non-canon because it spoiled Infinity War/Endgame stuff more than anything. Oh well...

The difference is that the Inspired By comics are meant to fit into the MCU timeline, they just aren't strict canon.

That's a valid argument, and I could get behind that. My only point was that the red stamp comics are immovable, solid 100% canon compared to the fluid nature of the inspired line of MCU comics. There's also many sponsored comics, like that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. one we're discussing. I suppose...

He also thought I Am Groot was non-canon, and that's part of the Guardians franchise. He's not just wrong, he's actually just completely stupid and inept at canon. Basically, Guardians tie-in comic is canon, Gunn is factually wrong. I know you don't disagree by the way, but I'm just saying that...

I do agree with you that some "Inspired By" comics can be canon. This timeline doesn't include those currently though.

James Gunn is an idiot when it comes to canon, frankly. Remember when he said Agent Carter (and all of MTV) wasn't canon? Yeah.

This timeline literally only includes canon comics. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Cinematic_Universe_tie-in_comics

Wrong. That was confirmed canonical by Marvel themselves on twitter.

    Sony's Spider-Man Universe - Timeline

Do you remember when that ID was shown? The Sony wiki places it on May 26th, 1973. No reference notes though, just a link to the movie's page. I can try skimming through the movie if needed.

    Spider-Man Trilogy - Timeline

Yeah... there's way too many games to do a full timeline of each universe so I just put the game as it is and that's good enough for me. That's a lot of divergent timelines though.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

I mean, (I'm getting padantic here) obviously it's canon because it's an official Marvel release and must take place within the wider multiverse. Though, I think your question is more so whether this is Uatu (Earth-199999), Peggy Carter (Earth-82111) and Wade Wilson (Earth-17315). In other...

    Spider-Man Trilogy - Timeline

Earth-760207 branches from Earth-96283 in December 2002, the conclusion of Spider-Man (2002). 1x03 is set exactly one year later in December 2003. There's a 6 month gap between 1x12/1x13 and 1x06. 1x08 has a tombstone that with 2003 on it as well, which does fit. Thus, it must end in June 2004.
