Woah.
Wait a minute... Am I reading the right title? Well, it was mailed to me...
The issue ACTUALLY kicked total ***. I would say it kicked so much *** that it reminded me of the days when I didn't hate this title. I had, like, before "Carnage" arc love for this issue.
I even knew I loved it within the first two pages.
It opens with a scene of two random hit men offing Ronin (Moon Knight). It was a perfect mob execution.
Then, we see Iron Fist telling Kingpin what happened and how Daredevil found out who sold him out to have his law firm blown up. It is written in a seamless flashback sequence that tied into the Kingpin and Iron Fist discussing this at a table. Awesome.
Following that, was the kicker of the issue. Daredevil wants to get back at Kingpin... So what does he do? Go in while Kingpin's wife is sleeping and threatens to strangle her when Kingpin bursts through the door. Spider-Man intervenes and prevents Daredevil from doing it. Daredevil bargains with Kingpin and they eventually reach an agreement that Kingpin must leave the country for good.
Just when I thought there was resolution to the story... It gets cooler yet! Turns out, Moon Knight survives the gun blast and makes his way to the police station (Where you see Ultimate Cloak and Dagger apprehended). He turns in the Kingpin...
...And ol' Wilson's behind bars!
He is made, though, telling his boy Rose to get the best of the best to take down Daredevil, Dr. Strange (*sigh* what DID he do to him, anyway?), and Spider-Man. I am hoping that this is the lead-in to the next "Death of a Goblin" arc.
Nice issue. 4/5.
